WEIGHT ROOM UPDATE

UP COMING EVENTS THIS SUMMER

 

1. Mifflinburg Wrestling Camp: for all Elementary, Jr. High, and High School Wrestlers

· Dates: June 21st, June 22nd, and June 23rd.
· Sessions Run: (1-4pm and 7-9pm)
· Cost: 25.00
· Features Clinicians @ evening session!
· Registration is at 12:30pm on June 21st

6. Athens Summer Wrestling Tournament:
· Date: June 26th & 27th
· Wrestling Association has already paid the $400.00 for our team to go.
· We currently only have 3 interested.
· You pay 25.00 dollars for hotel and all your food that is it!
· Let Coach Murray know ASAP if you plan to attend!
· Bus Leaves High School at 8:30 AM
· Weigh-ins: Saturday 10 am – Noon
· Wrestling: Saturday 1 pm and Sunday 10 am
· 9 matches over two days (more with exhibitions)
· Currently have teams from Pa district 2, 3, 4, 6, & 11 as well as NY
· What ever you weigh is the weight you go at

12. Bucknell Team Wrestling Camp for all Jr. High and High School Wrestlers

· July 7th thru 11th
· Cost 100.00 (check made payable to Mifflinburg Wrestling Association) send checks to Dave Murray @ 511 Pinnacle Lane, Mifflinburg, PA 17844. (The Mifflinburg Wrestling Association is paying all the additional cost for the camp!)
· Commuter Camp and you are responsible for your own food and getting picked up and dropped off at the camp. Need help Call Coach Murray.
· Let Coach Murray Know ASAP if you plan to attend

5. MIFFLINBURG  GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER
· SHADE MOUNTAIN GOLF COURSE
· 4 Man Scramble
· Entry Fee is $35 per person. Greens and Cart Fees are the responsibility of each golfer.
· Refreshments and Dinner are included.
  Schedule of Events:
· Registration from 12:00 – 1:00pm
· Shotgun Start at 1:00pm
· Dinner will be served at the end of the round.

4.Open Mats: Every Monday from 7-8:30pm (Wrestling Room will close down from July 19th thru    September 5th) (Open Mats will resume Monday’s from 7-8:30pm on September 6th)

5.Benton Wrestling Club: A bus to Benton will leave every Tuesday and Thursday @ 4:45pm. July 1st will be the last bus trip to Benton. There will be No bus to Benton on June 22nd!
